Academic Peer Mentoring

APM Overview

Academic Peer Mentors (APMs) are fellow USF students who are enthusiastic about helping all USF students succeed by offering individualized guidance to develop study strategies, explore major and career options, and seek resources to overcome barriers and enhance their journey at USF. 

Individual sessions are centered on students' needs and may focus on topics such as:

  • Time Management
  • Organization
  • Test/Exam Preparation
  • Learning Strategies
  • Textbook & Scholarly Reading
  • Motivation & Procrastination
  • Campus Involvement
  • Academic & Career Exploration
  • Campus Resources
