Services Provided
Are you concerned about a student? Do you need assistance connecting to resources? SOS supports students across all campuses.
Initial Appointment
Your initial appointment with a support coordinator will last approximately 50 minutes. The support coordinator will conduct a holistic assessment to gather information related to your well-being including areas related to mental and emotional health, academic difficulties, living environment, financial stressors, etc., in an effort to identify areas of need and options for support. The support coordinator will discuss resources and options.
Follow-up Appointments
Follow-up appointments may be offered, as determined by your support coordinator, to help monitor progress, discuss resource connections, and address academic or personal concerns. Check-ins can occur virtually or in person, depending on individual needs and circumstances.
Post-Hospital Services
Students recently hospitalized due to a behavioral health crisis, psychiatric emergency, or severe intoxication may need to meet with a support coordinator. This meeting ensures they have the resources, support, and care plan needed for a successful transition back. Contact us within 24 business hours of discharge to schedule an appointment and bring discharge or hospital documentation.
