Building Renovations

Elevator Update

The building's main elevators, located behind the Information Desk on the 1st floor, are undergoing renovations. Car 1 is up and running, while car 2 is still undergoing construction.

Staircases can also be accessed throughout the building.  Look for the main staircase in the atrium next to the information desk, the staircase just inside the east entrance, and the staircase next to Blenz Bowls will take you all the way to the 4th floor. 

  • Construction Begins

    August 11, 2025

    Renovations begin on elevator 1 with an expected completion date in early November. Renovations on elevator 2 will begin upon completion of elevator 1.

    The new cab interior is complete with finished walls. The upgraded car features a smoother and quieter operation.

  • Car 1: Up and Running!

    Elevator door partially opened

    Car 1 is officially back in operation and work has begun on Car 2.

  • Car 2: Under Construction

    Elevator 2 is not in service while construction is in progress.

    With the main elevators up and running, work begins now on the elevator in the Student Life Tower.
