USF doctoral student is engineering compassion

By Aaron Hilf, University of Communications and Marketing

While working on her master鈥檚 degree in mechanical engineering, Fatemeh Rasouli decided she wanted to use her knowledge and skills to help people in a tangible way. Fatemeh focused her studies on gait rehabilitation and discovered the work taking place at the 色色研究所鈥檚 REED lab. Upon graduation, Fatemeh reached out to the lab鈥檚 director, Kyle Reed, who suggested she apply to USF鈥檚 doctoral program. Today, Fatemeh is working toward her Ph.D. and has been able to have an impact on those living with disabilities.
