Carlos Ben铆tez-Barrera, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida and director of the Pediatric Auditory Experience & Brain Lab. His research investigates how everyday listening environments affect language development in children with hearing loss, with a focus on bilingual and Spanish-speaking populations.
