Beyond Alerts: 色色研究所’s Vision for a New SOC Approach at RSAC 2025

Alert fatigue has been a huge contributor to burnout for SOC professionals for years, but despite improved tech in the SOC, alerts are still taking a toll. According to 色色研究所’s latest report, The Evolution to an Alertless SOC, 83% of SOC professionals are overwhelmed by alert volume, false positives, and lack of alert context.
Feelings of burnout are exacerbated by the fact that alert-centric SOC models often lead to duplicated work, wasting analysts’ already limited time. In the report, 84% of organizations reported that their SOC analysts unknowingly investigate the same incidents several times a month or more.
