Congratulations to the 52 undergraduate and graduate students inducted into Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, on Friday, November 22. They come from all three campuses of USF. Faculty advisors are Sandra Schneider (Tampa), Kemesha Gabbidon (St. Petersburg), and Valentina Iturriaga (Sarasota-Manatee).

CAS sweeps Outstanding Graduate Faculty Mentor and Outstanding Thesis & Dissertation awards

Psychology Ph.D. graduate student, Alexandria Choate, received an Outstanding Thesis & Dissertation Award. Her dissertation aims to advance the understanding of borderline personality disorder (BPD) by leveraging mathematical, formal models to better understand its development across the lifespan.

This piece communicates the complexities of climate change denial and the psychological mechanisms that come into play as people process threats to their existence and deeply held beliefs.
