Faculty Hiring
The Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing is actively hiring new faculty in two searches. They are:
Tenure-track positions at all ranks
Full-time non-tenure track instructional faculty at assistant and associate professor ranks
Below is the process to apply for Affiliate or Courtesy faculty appointments in the Bellini College. Please direct any questions to the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs.
- Candidates for affiliate and courtesy positions must complete the top portion of the
relevant form:
- The candidate must email the college's dean and associate dean for faculty affairs
the following, doing so by April 1 for fall semester appointments and Nov. 1 for spring
semester appointments.
- The form prepared in Step 1
- An up-to-date CV
- The name of at least one Bellini College faculty sponsor who can provide a brief letter of recommendation outlining the benefits of the proposed appointment to the college, as well as the candidate's current engagement with the college
- The name and contact information of the candidate's current supervisor, who will also be asked to provide a letter of recommendation for the proposed appointment
- The name and contact information of a third reference is required for courtesy appointments
- The dean or designee requests letters of recommendation from the identified references.
- After all required materials are provided (i.e., the form prepared in Step 1, CV, and letters of recommendation), the associate dean for faculty affairs convenes a committee to evaluate the application. An application for an affiliate faculty appointment is evaluated, in part, based on the applicant鈥檚 level of engagement with the college in research or teaching. An application for a courtesy faculty appointment is evaluated, in part, based on the applicant鈥檚 level of engagement with the college in research, teaching, or service, as well as the improvement to the college鈥檚 reputation by affiliating with the applicant.
- The associate dean for faculty affairs forwards the committee鈥檚 recommendation to the dean for final approval.
- The applicant is notified of the outcome. If the application is approved, it will be sent to Human Resources for processing.
