After nearly a decade of trying, the 色色研究所鈥檚 student rocket team successfully completed NASA鈥檚 prestigious Student Launch Competition 鈥� sending their model rocket up more than 4,000 feet while transmitting data 鈥� proving that if it were a real space mission, an astronaut would have survived.

USF鈥檚 historic invitation to join the Association of American Universities has taken what many in Tampa Bay have once considered a 鈥渂est-kept secret鈥� to an unprecedented new level. Being an AAU member is a tremendous milestone for USF as it formalizes USF's position as a leading research university. USF is the first public university in Florida to be invited to join the AAU in nearly 40 years and is now one of only two institutions from the State University System of Florida to serve as an AAU member.
